John W. Haug

of W. Bradenton, Florida (formerly Warwick, NY), the retired Purchasing Agent of Mack Brothers in Goshen, NY and the Warwick Conference Center in Warwick, died Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Westminster Manor in W. Bradenton, FL.

 

The son of the late Walter and Hattie Reinhardt Haug, he was born on June 26, 1917 in Brooklyn, New York.  He was married to the late Eleanor (Meyers) Haug (2001).

 

Mr. Haug served with the US Army during World War II, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge #1043 in Bayshore, Long Island, and a member of the Sugar Loaf United Methodist Church.

 

He is survived by his son, Walter J. Haug of West Bradenton, FL; a daughter, Jean Alma Turner, of Milton, Florida; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen DeArellano of Key Biscayne, FL; nieces and nephews.

 

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 17th, at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, LI.
