
, of Warwick, entered into rest on Sunday, December 19, 2010. He was 87 years old.
Son of the late Daniel and Theresa Magro, he was born on January 29, 1923 in the Bronx, NY.
An honorably discharged Army veteran of World War II, Daniel was a 37 year resident of Warwick and a member of St. Stephen’s RC Church. He previously worked as a Power Plant Technician with Mid Orange Corrections Facility in Warwick.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Angela Magro; three daughters: Theresa Costello and her husband Anthony Costello, Tana Bradley and her husband Robert Bradley, and Fran Magro; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Magro, and his two grandsons, Daniel and Anthony Costello, Jr.
A family statement reads: “Daniel was a loving husband to his angel, Angela, and a wonderful father who was adored by his three little girls. He loved all of his grand and great-grandchildren dearly, and laughed and played with them often. He always bragged about his big family and will be cherished in our memories forever.”
Visitation will be on Monday, December 20th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday at St. Stephens RC Church, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
