Mary C. Tutino

of Warwick, died on April 28, 2006 at her residence.  She was 92 years old.

 

Born on May 3, 1913 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Carmain and Carmellia Petracca and was the oldest of their ten children.

 

She was married to the late Joseph Tutino.

 

Mrs. Tutino served with the US Navy during World War II and was stationed in Camp Endicott, RI.   Her name appears on the Navy Memorial in Washington, D.C.  She was a member of St. Stephens RC Church in Warwick, and a former member of Catholic Daughters.

 

Preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Maria Tutino, she is survived by her son, Joseph Tutino, Jr. of Warwick; two brothers:  Eugene Petracca of Candlewood Lake, CT and Ronald Petracca of Cortland, NY; three sisters:  Helena Ottaviano of Queens, Rita McLaughlin of Long Island and Paula Mangano of Long Island.

 

Visitation will be from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Sunday, April 30, at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 am on Monday at St. Stephens RC Church.  Interment will follow in St. Stephens Cemetery. 

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Hospice of Orange County, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY  12550.
