entered into God’s arms on December 13, 2006, surrounded by his loving family. He was 66 years old.
Born on November 4, 1940 in the Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Frank and Concetta Alongi Tanzella.
He was the beloved husband of Camille Paolini Tanzella for 43 years.
Richard and his family have made Warwick their home for the past 35 years.
He was a Millwright with United Brotherhood Carpenters Union, Local 740 in Queens. He was a member of St. Stephen’s RC Church in Warwick.
In addition to his wife, Camille, he is survived by his daughters: Diana Maylor and her husband George of Sugar Loaf, and Laura Mitchell and her husband Charles of Warwick; five grandchildren: Sydney, Liam, and Colin Mitchell and Kendall and Olivia Maylor; his sister, Concetta Barham of Massachusetts.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 15, 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Saturday at St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx.
