
Caroline Berlingieri, of Warwick (formerly of West Milford, NJ) , passed away on January 5, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Community Hospital. She was 70 years old.
Born on May 12, 1942 in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of Emma (Masella) Peccia and the late John Peccia.
She was married to Domenico Berlingieri,
A homemaker, Caroline worked as a Teacher’s Aide with the West Milford School District and was the former owner of Mama Theresa in Warwick. She was considered the world’s best baker. She was a member of St. Stephen’s RC Church, Warwick.
She is survived by her husband, Domenico of Warwick; a daughter, Teresa Berlingieri of Warwick; two sons: Dominic Berlingieri and his wife Wendy of Warwick, and Joseph Berlingieri of Warwick; her mother, Emma Peccia of Warwick; a brother, Anthony Peccia of Hewitt, NJ; four grandchildren: Carolina, Maria, Giovanni, and Domenico.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 7th, from 7-9 pm and Tuesday, January 8th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave, Warwick, NY. Funeral Mass will be at 10am on Wednesday at St. Stephens RC Church, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
