Rose C. (Talamo) Benvengo, of Warwick passed away on December 16, 2014 at Schervier Pavilion. She was 92 years old.
Born on October 5, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Guarracino Talamo.
She was married to the late Michael J. Benvengo (2012).
Rose retired in 1982 as a Teacher in Midwood High School, Brooklyn. She was a member of St. Stephens Church, Warwick.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Anthony Hospital and Schervier Pavilion for their outstanding care.
She is survived by her sons: James R. Benvengo and his wife Karen of Warwick, and Michael Benvengo, of Warwick; two granddaughters: Christine Bertollo and her husband Nicholas of Winston-Salem, NC, and Stephanie Benvengo, of Warwick; and a great-grandson, Ryan Bradley Bertollo.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 19th, from 4:00-8:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Saturday at St. Stephens RC Church, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
