Sarah (Sadie) M. Guddemi, of Warwick, NY, formerly of North Bergen, NJ, passed away on December 26, 2014 at Schervier Pavilion, Warwick. She was 89 years old.
Born on August 1, 1925 in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Bureci.
Sadie was married to the late Leonard J. Guddemi. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her life was her family.
She is survived by her three sons: Andrew Guddemi of Hackensack, NJ, Joseph Guddemi and wife, Marcia of Hamden, Ct, and Leonard A. Guddemi and wife, Laura, of Warwick, NY. Sadie is also survived by her six grandchildren, Mark, Gina, David, Linda, Rebekah, and Daniel, two sisters, Jennie Scudece and Josephine Cowell, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 30th at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave., Ramsey, NJ from 4:00-8:00.Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 on Wednesday, December 31st at St. Paul RC Church, 200 Wyckoff Ave., Ramsey, NJ. Private cremation.
