Born on November 14, 1936 in Warwick, he was the son of Hubert Bennett and Susan Becker.
Mr. Bennett was employed by Coleman Plumbing & Heating, in Florida, NY, until he became a self employed plumber.
A family statement read: “He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all. He loved to go on hunting trips and enjoyed fishing as well. He will surely be missed by all.”
He is survived by his wife, Carol (Urbin) Bennett of Warwick; two sons: Christopher Bennett and his wife Robin of Florida, NY and Ricci Bennett of Warwick; four daughters: Holly Moffett and her husband Thomas, of Kansas, Robbyn Magos and her husband Michael, of Kansas, and twin daughters Kelly Bennett, of Warwick and Kerri Bennett, of Kansas; a daughter-in-law, Joan Manning; grandchildren: Johnny, Carmella, Christopher, Shawn, Korri, Andrew, Shiane, Dwayne, Jimmy, Michael, Steven and Greg; a great-grandchild: Kaidance; a brother, Walter Bennett, of Warwick. He was predeceased by a son, Shawn Muribito.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 27th, from 2-4 & 7-8:30 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral service will be at 8:30 pm at the funeral home. Private cremation.
