Florence Marie Hoyt

of New Fairfield, CT (formerly Leonia, NJ), died on November 4, 2006, at Schervier Pavilion, Warwick, NY.  She was 85 years old. 

 

Born on October 4, 1921 in New York City, she was the daughter of George and Marion Le Hecka.

 

She was married to the late Clarence Hoyt (1985).

 

A homemaker, she was a member of St. John the Evangelist RC Church, Leonia, NJ.

 

She is survived by two sons:  Charles Hoyt of Minnesota and Richard Hoyt of Bozeman, MT; four daughters:  Patricia Ann Daly of Hamburg, NJ, Maryann Behari of Danbury, CT, Nancy Hoyt of Vero Beach, FL and Barbara Wilson of Monroe. Also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

 

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 7th,  from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY.  Funeral Mass will be at 10am on Wednesday at St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Queens.
