Margaret Stemmler of Goshen, New York, passed away on January 8, 2018.  She was 85 years old.

Margaret was born on August 6, 1932 in Brooklyn to the late Patrick Boyle and Helen Dolan.

She was a waitress at the Patio Club in Queens for many years.

Margaret is survived by her husband, William; daughter, Margaret Burnside and husband John of Greensboro, NC; sons, Paul and wife Karen of Warwick, William Stemmler and wife Fran of Whitestone, NY and James Stemmler and wife Janet of Staten Island, NY; a sister, Helen Mundy of Ft. Myers, FL; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Patrick Boyle.

Memorial visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY. Mass will be Saturday, January 13, at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Ave., Middle Village, NY.
