Born on November 6, 1921 in Bay Ridge, she was the daughter of the late James and Anna (Biaggi) Verri.
She was married to the late Anthony J. Buscemi (2010).
A homemaker and a great baker and cook, she formerly worked in the Proxy Office of Chase Manhattan.
The family would like to thank all those at Schervier Pavilion who lovingly cared for Lillian, especially Glenna Klimek and Myrtle Haddaway, her care aides.
She is survived by her daughter, Jane Gyulavary of Warwick; a granddaughter, Genevieve Gyulavary of Warwick; a sister-in-law, Karen Verri; two nephews: Alexander Verri and Christopher Verri.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 7th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Saturday at St. Stephens RC Church, followed by interment in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn.
