Raymond Jack Webster

Warwick, died on April 13, 2006 at Schervier Pavilion.  He was 78 years old.

 

Born on May 28, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of Raymond J. Webster, Sr. and Meribah Todd Webster.

 

He was married to Paula Scheuermann Webster.

 

A graduate of Colgate University, he was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was the proprietor of The Webster Feed & Grain Store in Pine Island.  He was a member of American Legion, Nicholas P. Lesandro Post #214 in Warwick, a member of Warwick Reformed Church, the Warwick Conservancy, the Warwick Men’s Glee Club, and a founding member of the Orange County Archeological Society. 

 

Survivors include his wife, Paula Webster; daughter Sharon Webster, of Warwick; son, Major Raymond J. Webster III  and his wife Jacqueline of Tucson, AZ; three grandchildren:  Claire, Bradley and Thomas.

 

Visitation will be Monday, April 17th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.  Funeral service will be at 12:30 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Warwick Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Warwick Conservancy, P.O. Box 1277, Warwick, NY 10990.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Warwick.
