Rudolph Schamarek of Warwick, NY passed away on June 13, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY surrounded by his loving family.  He was 87 years old.

Born in New York City, NY on October 27, 1930 to parents Anton and Nellie (Strak) Schamarek.

Rudolph served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1951-1953.

He retired from Kearfott in Little Falls, NJ where he worked in electronics.

He is survived by his wife, Rena (nee  Fiedtkou) at home; son John Schamarek and his companion Cindi of Warwick; daughters Lynn Borden and her husband Bruce of Middletown, NY and Mary Allen of PA; grandchildren John and his wife Kayla, Paul and companion Diana, Brittany and husband Tom; and great grandson Jasper.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 16 from 11-1 p.m. with a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, NY.  Cremation will be private.
