of Pasadena, TX, formerly of Warwick, NY, died on March 20, 2007 in Texas.
Born on October 12, 1934 in New York City, he was the son of Bernard William Ebbecke and Alma Kubick Ebbecke.
An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received and the Combat Infantryman’s Badge.
While in Warwick, he was a Charter Member, Pasts President and Vice President of the Warwick Valley Civic and Social Club, Town of Warwick Police officer, Orange County, NY Deputy Sheriff and a Deputy Sheriff in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. He was a Property Management Consultant for 25 years in Philadephia, PA.
He is survived by nine children: Frederick & his wife Michelle of Pasadena, TX, Janet Burigo and her husband Joseph of Westbrookville, NY, Richard and his wife Debra of Middletown, NY, William and his wife Christine of Westbrookville, NY, Alice Patterson and her husband Scott of Westbrookville, NY, Cynthia Green of Bryan, TX, Luis of Bryan, TX, John and his wife Suzanna of Morgan City, LA, Michael and his wife Beth of Oneonta, NY. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Lee Ebbecke. Also survived by 25 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and numerous friends all over the country.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 25th, from 2-4 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am on Monday at St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick. Interment will follow in St. Stephens Cemetery.
