
Lorraine A. Eiben of Warwick, NY, (formerly of Sloatsburg, NY) passed away on January 31, 2025. She was 95 years old.
Born in New York, NY, on June 23, 1929, she was the daughter of Harold and Anna (nee Hogg) Long.
Lorraine was a longtime member and Captain of the Tuxedo Volunteer Ambulance Corps. A statement from the Corps reads, “Lorraine served the TVAC with unparalleled dedication, passion, and vision for 60 years, leaving an indelible mark on our community and our mission. Under Lorraine’s leadership TVAC grew and thrived… Lorraine will be remembered for her kindness, integrity, and unwavering commitment…She was a mentor, friend, and a guiding light for so many of us, and her absence has already been deeply felt.”
Lorraine also worked security for Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY.
Lorraine is survived by her son Edward Humenanski and his wife Laurie of Warwick, NY and three granddaughters: Jessica VanDyk, Breeanna Delaney, and Brittney Humenanski. She was predeceased by her husband Tom Eiben and father of her son and first husband Edward Humenanski (1968).
