Josephine M. Vitale

Josephine M. Vitale of Warwick, NY (formerly of Chester and Las Vegas, NV) passed away peacefully at the Schervier Pavilion in Warwick, NY, on November 17, 2018.  She was 98 years old.

 

Born in Fayette, PA March 1, 1920 the daughter of Peter and Mary (nee Warazyniak) Vanet.

 

Josephine worked as a seamstress for over forty years before retiring from Gilligan O’Malley in New York City.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Maryann Gagliardo of Boca Raton, FL; her granddaughter, Joanne Abbate of Chester, NY, grandson, Frank Croce of Greentown, PA; four great-grandchildren: Christina Abbate, Giacomo Abbate, Danielle Abbate, and Joseph Abbate; as well as five great-great grandchildren.

 

Visitation will be Tuesday November 20, 2018 from 9:00 to 9:30 am at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY.  Services will be private.
