Christopher G. Kolasa of Warwick, NY passed away on January 16, 2022 at Garnet Medical Center in Wallkill, NY. He was 49 years old.

Born in West Islip, NY on February 11, 1972, he was the son of Joanne (Kuhlman) and the late George Kolasa.

Christopher was a manager at Lowe’s in Newburgh, NY.

Christopher is survived by his wife, Dawn Gavers-Kolasa and their three children: Bryan, Jaden and Shawn; mother, Joanne; many nieces and nephews; and his best-four-legged friend, Mikey. He was predeceased by his father and brother Eric.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at the Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY.
