of Highland Lakes, NJ, died on July 5, 2007 at Schervier Pavilion, Warwick, NY.  He was 94 years old.

 

Born on August 11, 1912 in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of George F. Buell and Anna Elizabeth Rhodes.

 

George was widowed by his wife, Helen.

 

Mr. Buell served with the Army during World War II in Intelligence.  He was a Chaplain with the Highland Lakes VFW and served as a Chaplain on the state level for 8 years.  He was a self-employed Commercial Artist.  He served on the Board of Highland Lakes Country Club, Highland Lakes, NJ.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 9th, from 10:00-11:00 am at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.  Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow in Warwick Cemetery.
