
Minnie Langlitz Youngman, a lifelong resident of Warwick, passed away on April 27, 2017 at St. Anthony Community Hospital. She was 92 years old.
Born on January 3, 1925 in Warwick, NY, she was one of twelve children of the late Peter and Kathleen Wilhelm.
She was married to the late Kenneth “Baldy” Langlitz (1978) and the late Richard A. Youngman (1996).
Minnie was a self-employed healthcare worker and was a great cook and baker. She was a member of the Engine 3 Auxiliary-WFD, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Warwick Seniors group. She was a longtime member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pine Island where she was a member of the Ladies Society.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Langlitz of Warwick; a sister, Louise Daubert of Warwick; two step-daughters: Renee Crane and Paula Czeck, both of Sussex, NJ; six step-grandchildren and many step-great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 1st, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
