Leo C. Kostic, a lifelong resident of Warwick, passed away on January 28, 2015 at St. Anthony Hospital. He was 79 years old.
Born on December 27, 1935 in Warwick, he was the son of the late Charles and Evelyn (Drew) Kostic.
He was married in 1968 to Sue (Joslyn) Kostic.
Leo grew up as a dairy farmer and then was a mechanic with Watkins Garage in Edenville. He retired as a Machinist with Kemp Industries in West Milford, New Jersey. He was a member of Edenville Methodist Church.
A family statement reads: “He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved animals, motorcycles (especially Harleys), and loved all kinds of tools.”
He is survived by his loving wife, Sue Kostic of Warwick; a daughter, Merelee Whitcomb and her husband Steve of Littleton, CO; a son, Michael Kostic and his wife Melissa of Greenville; six grandchildren; two great—grandchildren; many nieces and nephews of his wife’s family.
Memorial donations may be sent to the family to assist with the expenses of the funeral.
