William L. Sliter of Warwick, NY (formerly of Marathon, NY) passed away on September 12, 2021 after a long illness. He was 79 years old.

Born in Gouverneur, NY on March 30, 1942, he was the son of Donald and Isabel (Hymers) Sliter.

William was the owner and pharmacist of the Marathon Pharmacy in Marathon, New York from 1978-2006 until his retirement.  He was an active member of the Marathon Lions Club for over 25 years. He was also a parishioner at St. Stephen’s Church in Marathon, NY

Left to grieve are his wife of 55 years, Alice (nee McMorrow); son, David and his wife Amy of Warwick, NY and daughter, Megan DeJager and her husband Eric of Charleston, SC; five grandchildren: Andrew, Thomas, Patrick, Aaron and Ryan; and his sister, Janet Glenn.
