Born on February 14, 1918 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of Albert and Katrina Clientense Elze.
She was married to the late Alfred Furst (2001).
Mrs. Furst was a Clerk with the Orange County Board of Electrions, a member of Bellvale United Methodist Church, a former member of Warwick United Methodist Church, and the Bible study group of New Milford United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Warwick Seniors.
She is survived by her sons: William S. Furst of Dennisville, NJ and Richard A. Furst of Goshen; five grandchildren: Eric, Stephen, Kristien, Drew and Katherine; sisters: Mildred Beh of Stow, VT and Alice Hannemann of Schroon Lake, NY; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral service will be at 10am on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Warwick Cemetery.
