Claire M. Frey, of Warwick, NY, passed away on January 17, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown. She was 81 years old.
Born on July 5, 1933 in North Bergen, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Louise Adelhoch.
She was married to the late Charles G. Frey (2008).
Before retiring, Claire was a Nurse’s Assistant in Tenafly, NJ. Claire loved animals and was an avid supporter of the Warwick Valley Humane Society. She was a member of St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick.
She is survived by her two sons: Craig Frey of Florida, NY and Larry Frey of Barryville, NY; her five grandchildren: Jessica, Lauren, Melissa, Michael and Jacalyn; a brother, Alvin Adelhoch of Vineland, NJ; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Vera Wells.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 20th, from 3-5 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday at St. Stephens RC Church. Private cremation.
