Christene Johnson of Warwick, NY, passed away at Sloan Kettering Hospital on January 7, 2023 after a valiant fight. She showed strength with 'Faith over fear' as her motto overcoming many years of adversity with fight after fight all the while staying strong for her beloved children and continuing to give selflessly to all around her.  She lives forever in all she touched and all whom she has touched.

She was 51 years old.

Born in Pelham, NY on September 7, 1971, she was the daughter of Maria (Rondinelli) and the late Michael Ciferri.

Christene is survived by her husband Scott and their 3 children: Christian, Alicia, and Victoria; mother Maria Ciferri; sister Kim Weisse; brother Michael Ciferri; and dogs, Storm and Zeus.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2023 at St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick.
