John (Jack) R. Nugent

, 69, of  Hamburg, NJ, passed away on  Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at his home.

 

Born on Sept. 6, 1936 in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late John and Margaret Nugent.

 

Mr. Nugent was a retired Firefighter with the NYC Fire Department.  He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

 

He is survived by his wife Paula Solovey Nugent; two sons:   Kenneth Nugent of Ft. Mills, SC  and Philip Nugent of Bonita Springs, Florida; Stepdaughters Brenda Meier and Sharon Garcia of Warwick and Colette Buzzetta; Nine Grandchildren; nephews: Matthew and Robert.

 

Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on  Sunday,  May 28,  at  Lazear-Smith and Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, NY.  Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 30, at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, NY.
