James McSherry of Florida, NY, passed away on August 1, 2021. He was 52 years old.
Born in New York City on September 17, 1968, he was the son of Barbara and the late James E. McSherry.
James was an amazing athlete from his younger years in baseball and hockey to his present golf career. He loved sharing his expertise with all. He had a love for animals and always adopted shelter dogs, giving them a better and spoiled life.
James is survived by his mother, Barbara; brother, John “Jack” of New York City; sister, Jennifer of Warwick, NY; aunt and godmother, Ann of New York City; two nieces, Gwenyth and Grace; many cousins and of course, our Stuyvesant family.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on August 16, 2021 at St. Stephen’s Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick.
