Jessie S. Green

of Warwick, passed away on October 30, 2009 at Westchester Medical Center.  She was 88 years old.

 

Born on February 24, 1921 in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Jessie (Wygant) Smith.

 

She was the wife of Edward B. Green, Jr.

 

Mrs. Green was a Secretary/Law Stenographer with John Lee, attorney, in Warwick.  She was a member of St. Stephens RC Church, the VFW Auxiliary of Warwick, and the Pine Island Seniors.

 

She is survived by her husband, Edward B. Green, of Warwick; a sister, Donna Nicoll, of Garden City, SC;  several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by two daughters,  Donna Green and Kimberly Luks.

 

Visitation will be on Monday, November 2, 2009, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday at St. Stephens RC Church.  Interment will follow in Warwick Cemetery.
