Joyce Holden Nash, “Jody” of Warwick, NY and Franklin MA  passed away on November 30, 2013.  She was 82 years old.

Born on October 22, 1931 in Rochester, NH, she was the daughter of the late Edward Wight Holden and Estelle Bennett.

She was married for 58 years to the late James Herbert Nash (2013).

Joyce was an Art Teacher for almost 50 years to K-12 students with the Franklin Board of Education in Franklin, MA  before retiring.  A lover of all arts, she was a painter and artist, a floral designer, antique collector and cook.  She raised Arabian horses for many years and had an insatiable love for animals, as well as her Patriots football team.

She is survived by her daughter Lucinda Henry and her husband James of Warwick, NY;  four grandchildren: Christian Henry and his wife Sarah of South Port, CT, Jonathan Henry of Brooklyn, Alexander Henry of Warwick and Arianna Henry of Brooklyn;  a great-granddaughter, Evelyn Rose Henry;  a niece, Robin Dole; two nephews, Ernie and Ted Bindel; her two Arabian horses, a Rottweiler and Siamese cat.  She was predeceased by a sister, Phyllis Macey.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 15th, at Christ Episcopal Church, Warwick.
