
Philomena P. Tyrrell(nee Meehan) of Warwick, NY passed away on February 6, 2018 at Schervier Pavilion. She was 79 years old.
Born March 1, 1938 in Leitrim, Ireland to parents Vincent Meehan and Anna McNulty.
Philomena was married to John Tyrrell for fifty-two years.
She worked as an administrative assistant in the Town of Warwick Building Department.
Philomena is survived by her husband, John at home; her two daughters, Bernadette Tyrrell and husband Keith McAleer of Brewster and Caroline Quin and her husband Daniel of Stony Point; her son, John D. Tyrrell and his fiancée Cari McGinnis of Montgomery; four grandchildren, Elyse, Terrence, Sean and Colin; her three sisters, Mary Halim, Theresa Steen, and Rose Meehan; and her three brothers, Peter, Daniel and Patrick Meehan; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Vincent and Gerard Meehan and a sister, Barbara Cress.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 12, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick. Interment immediately following at St. Stephen’s Cemetery.
