of Warwick (formerly of Woodhaven, Queens), died on March 28, 2008 at Schervier Pavilion.  She was 76 years old.

Born on December 22, 1931 in Magueyes, Puerto Rico., she came to the United States at the age of 16.  She was the daughter of Gregorio Collazo and Josephine Gueits Collazo.

She was married to James Arizonis.

A homemaker, Mrs. Arizonis was a member of St. Thomas RC Church, Queens, New York.

“A family statement read:  She will be missed by all of her family and friends whom she loved.”

She is survived by her husband, James of Warwick; a daughter, Rosa Atamyildiz of Warwick; two sons:  Fernando Medina of Staten Island and Anthony Medina of Queens;  her grandchildren:  Ryan, Gregory, Genevieve, Alexa, Anthony, Jonathan, Lilibeth, Anthony, Jr. and Christian; one great-grandchild, Angelina;  and ten brothers and sisters.  She was predeceased by a son, Efran Diaz.

Visitation will be on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday at St. Stephens RC Church.  Interment will follow in Warwick Cemetery.
