Born on February 23, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Alvino and Margaret Desintas Conte.
He was married to the late Marie R. Conte.
Mr. Conte served with the Army Military Police during the Korean War. He was a Lithographer with Local #1 Amalgamated Lithographers of America, New York, NY.
A family statement read “he will be lovingly remembered forever.”
He is survived by a son, Richard Conte, of Easton, PA; three daughters: June Kraemer, Carol Cook, and Rosemary de Roberts, all of Warwick; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters: Marie Zaccaria of Princeton, NJ and Filomena Gallatro of Brooklyn, NY.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 3, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, NY. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday at Holy Rosary RC Church, 41 Windermere Ave., Greenwood Lake. Private cremation.
