Rene “Red” Bogart of Warwick, NY passed away on June 2, 2021 at home after a brief illness. He was 71 years old.
Born on January 10, 1950 in Nyack, NY, Red was the son of Rene Bogart and Doris (nee Bolton) Rivers.
Red worked most recently at Metal Container in New Windsor, NY. He was also a former supervisor at the Kay Fries Chemical Corporation in Stony Point, NY. Red was a great family man who worked long hours to provide for his family. He was an all-around handyman who could fix just about anything. He liked fixing and driving cars and motorcycles. A family statement reads, “Your loved ones will miss you dearly.”
Red is survived by his loving wife, Mary; son Scott of Warwick; daughter Reneé of Florida, NY; two grandchildren: Danielle Keesler of NJ and Samantha Assini of Florida, NY; brother Daniel Bogart of Washingtonville, NY; step-sister Laura Cotchan of VA and step-brother Christopher Rivers of Florida, NY. He was predeceased by his father, mother and step-father Harold Rivers.
