of Warwick, died on February 4, 2008 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his son, James, his wife Ann, and his grandson Bryan. He was 92 years old.
Born on December 8, 1915 in the Little York section of Pine Island, he was the son of John and Anna Paffenroth Daubert.
He was married for 56 years to the late Laura Doty Daubert(1997).
Mr. Daubert served with the US Army during World War II. He was the owner of Daubert Brothers Construction, Warwick. He served for two years with the Civilian Conservation Corps, was a member of the Carpenters Union, Newburgh for 50 years, and was an honorary member of the Mountaineer Hunting Club. He was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pine Island, where he served as Treasurer for 12 years.
He is survived by three sons: James of Florham Park, George of Napanoch, and Ronald of Warwick; two daughters: Karen De Jong of Sussex and Sandra Kachelriess of Hilton Head, SC; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Louise Ruhl, of Pine Island.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 8th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Little York Road, Pine Island. Interment will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
