Margaret M. Valenson, of Highland Lakes, NJ, passed away on December 11, 2015 at St. Anthony Community Hospital. She was 92 years old.
Born on October 9, 1923 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late James Egan and Sadie Murray Egan.
She was married to the late Walter D. Valenson (1987).
Margaret was formerly a Hospital Administrator at St. Elizabeth Hospital in NYC.
She is survived by her daughters: Kathleen Sharpe of Montgomery, NY and Sally Meyer and her husband William of Warwick, NY; her grandchildren: William Sharpe and wife Colleen, Kevin Sharpe and wife Valerie, Christopher Sharpe and wife Michele, Jennifer Christian and husband David, and James Meyer and wife Christan; and great-grandchildren: Danielle Sharpe, Ryan Sharpe, Emily Sharpe, Aliyah Meyer and Anthony Meyer.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 14th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday at St. Stephen RC Church, Warwick, followed by interment in St. Stephen Cemetery.
