of Warwick, died on April 11, 2007 at Park Manor Nursing Home, Middletown.  She was 85 years old.

Born on March 26, 1922 in Mt. Salem, Sussex County, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Warren Groom and Frances May Martin Groom.

She was married to the late Charles E. Mc Combs.

Mrs. Mc Combs worked at the Iron Forge Inn for more than 40 years.  She was a member of the Warwick United Methodist Church. 

She is survived by her sons:  Charles Mc Combs and his wife Darcy of Woodridge and John J. Mc Combs and his wife Cindy of Warwick; a daughter, Frances Osburn of New Hampton; 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; a brother, Frank Groom, of Goshen.  She was predeceased by a son, Warren Mc Combs. 

Visitation will be on Friday, April 13, 2007, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.  Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Warwick Cemetery.
