
Frank L. Jordan, of Warwick, passed away on July 10, 2012 at St. Anthony’s Hospital. He was 83 years old.
Born on April 12, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Francis M. and Josephine (Kelleher) Jordan.
He was married for 57 years to Carol (Sprague) Jordan.
Frank served with the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of VFW Post 4662 of Warwick, American Legion Post 214 of Warwick, VFW in Goshen, American Legion of Goshen, and Ancient Order of Hibernians of Orange County.
He was a retired Traffic Manager/Dispatcher with Rite Way Express, Westwood, NJ, was a longtime volunteer at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Warwick, and a parishioner of St. Stephens RC Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carol of Warwick; two sons: Christopher Jordan and his wife Mari of Ballston Spa, NY and William Jordan and his companion Lori Radassao of Chester, NY; a daughter, Ellen Cosme and her companion Bruce Pickering of Wappingers Falls, NY; four grandchildren: Jennifer Cosme, Sean Cosme, Jessica Rodriguez, and Stephen Jordan; three great-grandchildren: Marques, Sophia and Alexander; two brothers: John Jordan and his wife Ronnie of Belle Harbor, NY and James Jordan and his wife Chu of San Antonio, TX; a sister, Catherine Becker of Middletown; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Stephen Jordan in 2002.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Friday at St. Stephens RC Church, followed by interment in Orange County Veterans Cemetery.
