Raffles M. Grillo, a 90 year resident of Warwick, passed away on July 3, 2015 at Elant at Newburgh. She was 94 years old
Born on December 2, 1920 in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Concetta Amelia Folino. She came to the United States in 1922.
Raffles formerly worked at Mechanical Rubber in Warwick as a Trimmer. She was a parishioner of St. Stephens RC Church and a member of Pine Island Seniors.
She is survived by her sister, Theresa Cassanite of Warwick; and two grandsons: Arthur Grillo and Louis Grillo. She was predeceased by a son, Arthur Grillo, a sister, Katherine Folino, and a brother Thomas Folino.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 6th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
