
Carol A. Mileski, of Goshen, NY (formerly of Sussex, NJ), passed away on October 4, 2012 at Valley View Nursing Home, Goshen. She was 76 years old.
Born on January 17, 1936 in Hackensack, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William Huston and Rose Emma Charvat Huston.
She was married to the late John Mileski.
Carol was a Secretary with the County of Sussex, Newton, NJ. She was formerly a model with Arnold Constable. She was a member of the Eastern Star in East Rutherford, NJ and a lifetime member of the Home Gardening Club in Sussex.
A family statement reads “Carol “Mema” was a giver, loved to bake and give her cookies as gifts. Gardening was her passion as well as ‘dirt therapy’.”
She is survived by her children: Karen Antonelli and her husband William of Warwick, NY, son John Mileski of North Carolina, and Lauren Engelmann and her husband Tony of Layton, NJ; four grandchildren: Brielle, Maya, Danielle and Michael; a sister, Sandra Sulski of Butler, NJ; a brother, William Huston of Park Ridge, NJ.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday, October 10th, from 1:00-2:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date in Brig. William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
