Alan P. Gangone

of Las Vegas, Nevada, (formerly of Brooklyn) passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2009 in Nevada.  He was 57 years old.

 

Born on September 23, 1951 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Anthony Gangone and Louise Orsano Gangone.

 

Alan was a Mail Sorter with the United States Postal Service in Las Vegas.

 

He is survived by his sister, Kathleen Bellantone and husband Peter of Warwick; five nephews:  Peter Bellantone and his wife Lisa of Warwick; Paul Bellantone and his wife Donna of Flower Mound, TX, Michael Bellantone and his wife Andrea of Wyckoff, NJ,  Andrew Bellantone and his wife Beth of Nyack, NY, and Louis Gangone of Brooklyn.; a sister-in-law, Rochelle Gangone of Staten Island.  He was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Gangone in 1987.

 

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 2nd, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Pinelawn Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
