Joseph W. Teller

of Greenwood Lake, passed away on July 8, 2010 at James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx.  He was 65 years old.

 

Born on February 9, 1945 in Glen Ridge, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Arlene E. (Hildebrandt) Teller.

 

Mr. Teller served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.  He was a former member of American Legion Arthur Finnegan Post in Greenwood Lake.  He was a self employed carpenter in Greenwood Lake.

 

He is survived by his son, Michael J. Teller of Sapsuma, FL;  three grandchildren:  Michael William, Matthew Joseph, and Brianna Lynne;  two brothers:  Robert Teller of Greenwood Lake and Glen Teller of Vernon, NJ;  many nieces and nephews.

 

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, July 15, 2010, at St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick.  Interment will follow in Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen, with military honors.

 

Memorial donations may be sent to Orange County Veterans, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY 10924.
