Illeana M. Urgo of Warwick, NY (formerly of Paramus, NJ) passed away after a brief illness at Westchester Medical Center on February 12, 2022. She was 58 years old.
Born in Willingboro, NJ on June 8, 1963, she was the daughter of late Walter and Elizabeth (nee Wallace) Tschaikowsky.
Illeana was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse of Hackensack Hospital.
A family statement reads, “Illeana was a devoted mother who loved her family with all of her heart. She enjoyed travel and gardening. She was an animal enthusiast who befriended any creature who would allow her to get close.”
Illeana is survived by her five children: John J. Urgo, Nicholas J. Urgo, Michael W. Urgo, Olivia E. Urgo, and Joseph A. Urgo all of the Town of Warwick, NY; sister Tamara Delaura of Tucson, AZ; brothers Gregory Tschaikowsky of Ringwood, NJ and Alexis Tschaikowsky of Hackensack, NJ; and her favorite cat, Riza. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John and siblings: John and Eric Tschaikowsky and Nina Louis.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 18th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at the Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY.
