
William D. DeFreese, of Warwick, passed away on December 28, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center. He was 61 years old.
Born on November 23, 1956 in Paterson, he was the son of Peter D. DeFreese and Frieda Mann.
He was married to Alberta (Hague) DeFreese.
William was a Truck Mechanic with Ward in Walden, NY.
He loved to gamble, play bingo, hunting, and playing the guitar.
He is survived by his wife, Alberta DeFreese of Warwick; a step-daughter, Christina Real of York, PA; his brothers: Edward DeFreese of Warwick, Charles DeFreese of Warwick, Marvin DeFreese of Warwick, Daniel DeFreese of Warwick, Robert DeFreese of Westtown, and Michael DeFreese of Charlotte, NC; his sisters: Venus Miller of Warwick, Marie Payne of Warwick, and Melissa Pitt of Clearwater, FL; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sisters Vivian DeFreese, Patricia Santiago, and Dawn Schell, and a step-son, Rory Mann.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 9:00-11:00 am at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, NY, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
