of the Bronx and Vero Beach, Florida, died on November 15, 2006 at Belle Reve Nursing Home in Milford, PA. He was 87 years old.
Born on October 10, 1919 in Seymour, CT, he was the son of Constantine and Eriphile Kouglis Georgalas.
He was married to his beloved late wife, Claire Bourbeau Georgalas. They were happily married for 56 years.
An Army veteran of the Korean conflict, he was a Photo Engraver for the New York Post and Conde Nast, New York City. He was a member of the Free Masons of the Pelham Bay Lodge in the Bronx.
He is survived by : Arthur and his wife Kathleen of Warwick, NY, George of Lyndhurst, NJ, Robert and his wife Jane of Denmark, Stephen and his partner Angelo of Bloomfield, NJ; a daughter, Angela Cucinello and her husband Jimmy of Mahwah, NJ; a sister, Dorothea Galivan of Oak Harbor, WA; and eleven grandchildren: Erin, Michael, Christopher, Andrew, Nicholas, Thomas, Pernilla, Sandie, Summer, Michella and Nicole.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 18th, from 2-4 and 7-8:30 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave, Warwick, NY. Funeral service will be held at 8:30 PM on
Saturday at the funeral home. Private cremation.
