Ian Zaboor Sharp, of Warwick, passed away on March 25, 2012 in Warwick, as a result of an automobile accident. He was 34 years old.
Born on February 17, 1978 in Englewood, NJ, he was the son of George A. and Ekua (Lawson) Sharp.
“A very sweet, loving person and a free spirit”, Ian was a self-employed Artist/Painter. He enjoyed poetry and was a rap singer. He also worked as a carpenter and in landscaping.
He is survived by his parents, George and Ekua Sharp of Warwick; a brother, John Dendy in Texas; two sisters: Kay Dendy in California and Kathleen Perks in Nova Scotia; and a nephew, Austin Webster-Perks.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 31st, from 1:00-3:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY 10990. Following the memorial service, a celebration of Ian’s life will take place at the Warwick Valley Community Center, 11 Hamilton Avenue, Warwick.
