Heather Pargeter Lipman, wife of Alan S. Lipman and longtime resident of Warwick, passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2011. She was 74 years old.
Heather was born in Brighton, England on September 7, 1937 to Clarence and Helena Walpole. One of the original Gerber babies, Heather loved her family and her community. She found no greater pleasure than sharing a cup of tea with a friend in her garden. She loved her children and grandchildren and found a way, every day, to make someone feel special. Heather was the owner of Warwick Country Realty, Inc. and past president of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Heather is survived by her husband, Alan S. Lipman, son Andrew Pargeter, daughter Rachel Pargeter and her husband Charles Lerch of Portland, ME and their children Caroline and Cassandra, her daughter Jane Brief and her husband Eric of Warwick and their children Spencer and Davis, her daughter Stacey Bamford and her husband Bob of Clarks Summit, PA and their children Jason and Elizabeth, son Michael Lipman and his wife Brigitte Bovy of Harvard, MA and their children Sebastien and Alexia, and daughter Deborah Lipman of Asheville, NC and her children Gavin and Ibis.
Heather was predeceased by her parents, a sister, Shirley Cullin, and her brother Stephen Walpole, all of Brighton, England.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 11, 2011, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Christ Episcopal Church, 50 South Street, Warwick, NY. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday at the church, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
