Mary Lou Babinski

of Warwick (formerly of Saginaw, Michigan and Hillsdale, NJ), passed away on August 27, 2009 in Norwood, NJ.  She was 75 years old.

 

Born on September 18, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of Charles and Louise (Deidrichs) Raths.

 

She was married to the late Paul A. Babinski (1997).

 

A homemaker, Mary Lou was a volunteer with the Hillsdale Ambulance and a member of St. Stephens RC Church, Warwick.  She was the “undisputed best Mom in the world”, loved gardening, dogs, animals of all kinds, an avid reader, loved doing crossword puzzles, basket weaving, painting, sculpturing, and  baking homemade breads.

 

She is survived by her children:  Dr. Michael Babinski and his wife Christine of Lebanon, CT, Teresa Kelemet and her husband Elbrus of Morris Plains, NJ, Elizabeth Hart and her husband John of Frisco, TX, Luann Ferrari and her husband Peter of Rivervale, NJ, and Amy Bartlett and her husband Timothy of Bentley, MI; nine grandchildren:  Leyla, Adam, Christopher, Danny, Evan, Nathan, J.J., Brooke and James; brother, Charles Raths and his wife Karen of Michigan; sisters:  Carolyn Will and her husband Arthur of Ohio and Josette Card and her husband Robert of Michigan.  She was predeceased by a brother, John Raths, and a sister Patricia Sherman. 

 

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Monday, August 31st, at St. Stephens RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Rd., Warwick, NY, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.  (No visitation).
