of Fairfield Glade, TN, (formerly of Webster, NY) died on November 26, 2006 at St. Anthony’s Hospital, Warwick, NY. He was 66 years old.
Born on January 1, 1940 in Port Huron, Michigan, he was the son of Harry C. Bell and Viola H., Buehl.
He was the husband of Mary Nemeth Bell.
Mr. Bell served with the US Navy from 1958-1962. He was a Senior Product Design Engineer with Xerox Corporation in Rochester, NY for 37 years. He was a member of the Fairfield Glade Community Church, a member of a Remote Control Sail Boat Club, was a woodworking and metal working enthusiast, an inventor and “jack of all trades”.
Mr. Bell is survived by his wife, Mary of Fairfield Glade, TN; a daughter, Deanna Lutz of Kingston, NY; two sons: John Bell of Ellenville, NY and Dean Bell and his wife Hilda of Seattle, WA; two step-sons: William Von der Horst and his wife Erin of Warwick, NY and Peter S. Von der Horst of Vernon, NJ; a step-daughter, Lori E. Von Der Horst and her husband Carl Tosten of Everett, WA; ten grandchildren: Craig, Erica, Antonio, Amanda V., Amanda H., Sofia, Jesse, Ryan, Maegan and Max; one great-grandaughter, Araya; brother, Tim Bell of Ft. Worth, TX; sister, Gloria Wilkens of Port Huron, MI.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 1, 2007 at Fairfield Glade Community Church, Fairfield Glade, TN.
