of Warwick, entered into rest on April 17, 2011 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Philip Schadt in Westtown, NY. She was 96 years old.
The daughter of the late Arthur and Ella Card Hann, she was born in Warwick on October 3, 1914.
She was the widow of Harold “Jess” Barry (2000).
She is survived by her son and his wife, Michael and Lareine Barry of Warwick; her daughter and her husband, Brenda and Philip Schadt of Westtown; grandchildren: Michael Barry, Jr. and wife Kelly, Lori Phillips and her husband Edward, and Lynn Doran and her husband Michael; great-grandchildren: Matthew and Jennifer Barry, Crystal Phillips and Emilie, Mollie and Michael Doran; niece Judith Green, and nephews Terry Hann, and James Hann and his wife Linda and their family. She was predeceased by her brother Casper Hann, sister Mildred Decker, and nephew Dennis Decker.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 20th, from 10:00-11:00 am at New Milford-Edenville United Methodist Church, 5 Jockey Hollow Road, New Milford, NY, the church where Helen was a member for 80 years. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at the church, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
