
75, of Warwick, gone to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 10, 2011, at St. Anthony’s Hospital, with his family, including grandchildren, by his side.
Son of the late Johnie and Alice J. Daniel, he was born on December 10, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York.
He was a graduate of Haaren High School in NYC. He worked at Ford Motor Company in Mahwah and was a Corrections Officer at Mid Orange in Warwick.
A family statement reads: “Upon his retirement, he took great pleasure in spending time with his family – loved doing gardening, yard work and took it upon himself to be a great husband and the best dad ever! We will miss you!”
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years on February 9, 2011, Alice R. Daniel;
his daughters: Carole Redner and husband Paul of Warwick, Joanne Bailey and husband Raymond of Florida, NY; a son, Michael C. Daniel of Warwick; his grandchildren: Paul, Jason, Joseph, and Kenny Redner, Raymond, Rachael, Anthony, Nicholas and Theresa Bailey, Zachary and Hannah Daniel; a great-grandson, Tyler and soon to be, Rylee Redner. He was predeceased by a daughter, Laura Jean Daniel Knibbs and a sister, Jean Daniel.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 13th, from 4:00-7:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Monday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
