Alison Rae Szambel

of Warwick, passed away on May 4, 2010.  She was 36 years old.

 

Born on May 7, 1973 in Flushing, Queens, she was the daughter of Diane Janecek Szambel and the late John Szambel.

 

Alison was a Personal Care Assistant for Unlimited Care.

 

A family statement said: “Her life was devoted to her daughter and family.  She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.”

 

She is survived by her daughter, Johnni-Rose Szambel, of Warwick; her mother, Diane Szambel, of Warwick; her sister, Holly Szambel, of Warwick; and her brother, Scott Szambel, of Warwick.

 

Visitation will be Saturday, May 8th from 7pm to 9pm and Sunday, May 9th from 7pm to 9pm.  A funeral service will be held 10:00am on Monday at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home.  Interment will follow at Flushing Cemetery, Flushing, Queens
